The impacts of this unique emergency are substantial and will be ongoing. We have compiled a variety of resources that provide relief to the Vendor community. We will continue to update this information as new programs become available in an ever-changing environment.

The programs and initiatives in the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act that was just passed by Congress are intended to assist business owners their immediate needs. When implemented, there will be new resources available for small businesses, non-profits, and other employers. 

This guide provides information about the major programs and initiatives that will soon be available from the Small Business Administration (SBA), as well as additional tax provisions that are outside the scope of SBA.

The City Bar Justice Center is offering pro bono legal consultations to small business owners to help them understand and act upon options available under the federal government’s COVID-19 stimulus package and other opportunities available through federal, state and local programs. Qualifying small businesses will be offered free 45-minute consultations with pro bono attorneys who will also answer broader legal questions on circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.

Renaissance Economic Development Corporation, an affiliate of Asian Americans for Equality, just announced its Emergency Small Business Relief Loan Fund to help the many independent neighborhood businesses imperiled by COVID-19.
